Reflections

Welcome to my post on reflection.
The mirrored elements in my work are more than just a visual device, they’re metaphors. They invite you into a wider imaginative space, reflecting not only shapes and colours, but also ideas and possibilities. Using surrealism, I blur the line between the real and the imagined. Familiar photos and images from books are reassembled into dreamlike landscapes, other worlds, or portals into something just beyond reach.
Vibrant colour plays a big role, echoing space and time, often mirrored horizontally with contrasting tones or intensities. Each artwork is built in layers, of colour, of imagery, of meaning, yet it’s up to you, the viewer, to decide what’s really happening in each piece.
Text adds another playful layer. Tongue twisters, unexpected phrases, and curious statements are woven in to spark joy and hold your attention just a little longer, inviting you to explore every element.
I hope my work prompts questions like: Where in my life am I walking the edge between reality and imagination? or What do I reflect?
