This concertina artist book features screen printed paper with cutout words. This work is about the illusion of freedom. In as much as we all feel we are free to do as we please, we are still bound by things that hold us back. Whether it be the laws of the land, our beliefs or our personalities, we are all bound, sometimes for the better, to do the right thing by ourselves, friends and family.
